WOW!! that’s a lot of work scheduled for our tax dollars. I calculated $1.18 from every gallon of fuel goes to taxes. I hope truckers have been notified. Plus highway speeders will require a lot of Highway Patrol Officers on duty. Remember a percentage of speeding tickets goes into the County’s coffers. I know when I drive home weekly from work Eureka to Fortuna I try and stay in the right lane doing 60 mph and very large pickups with large tires hanging outside their fender four inches or more and spewing black diesel exhaust are passing me doing what I estimate to be 80 mph. Where do these drivers get their money to fill their fuel tanks? What’s the hurray? Horney girlfriends waiting for them at home!
