Per the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office due to recent increased wildfire activity an EVACUATION ORDER is being issued for the following areas: ZONE HWK480.
Zone HWK480 – This zone includes all areas north of the Denny Road from the intersection of the Denny Road and Wallen Ranch Road, Ziegler Point Road / FS Road 7N04 through Hawkins Creek north to the County Line. Wallen Ranch Road, Ziegler Point Road / FS Road 7N04 and any spurs roads off FS Road 7N04 will be closed to public access.
⚠️ EVACUATION WARNINGS ⚠️
Per the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office an EVACUATION WARNING is being issued for the following areas: ZONE HWK481.
Zone HWK481 – This zone includes area along the Denny Road north and north of Denny saddle through the Happy Camp Mountain Area including Bell Creek. Areas southeast of Happy Camp Mountain through Dryer Creek and Bell Flat. Denny Road will remain open.
Area residents and visitors in the above listed areas if elderly, have medical issues, have small children, or have livestock and pets, need to be prepared to leave the area in case of increased fire activity. While leaving the area use caution as emergency vehicles assisting with evacuations, structure protection and fire suppression efforts will be on the roadways.
⚠️ EVACUATION WARNINGS ⚠️ from earlier remain in effect for the following areas: ZONE HWK483 and HWK482
Zone HWK483 – These areas includes all of Trinity Village. Denny Road north of the Trinity River to Wallen Ranch Road, Trinity Court, River Road, Hawkins Bar Road, Lone Pine Road, China Flat Road, Madrone Lane, Coon Creek Road, Flame Tree Road, north to Wallen Ranch Road.
Zone HWK482 – Suzy Q Road and all roads off of Suzy Q Road
The Temporary Evacuation Point will be at the Wayside Chapel located at 1020 State Route 299 in Willow Creek, CA.
While driving in the area use caution as emergency vehicles assisting with evacuations, structure protection and fire suppression efforts will be on the roadways.
As we have experienced in the past, fire activity can change rapidly and the public needs to be vigilant and ready to move in case the Evacuation Status in the area changes.
The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office continues to monitor the fire activity and will keep the public updated.
