An Ambulance is Responding to the Site of a Two-Vehicle Collision on E Street in Eureka

Traffic CollisionAccording to scanner traffic, a two-vehicle collision occurred around 11:15 a.m. on August 11th.

Fire personnel and City Ambulance have been requested to the cross of Grotto and E streets in Eureka.

The driver of one of the vehicles is reported to possibly be unresponsive.

The vehicles may be blocking E Street. Please avoid the area is possible.

Update: Scanner traffic from the scene indicates that one party has sustained moderate injuries and is en route to a hospital.

It’s hard to see oncoming cars there when crossing E St. Hope everyone will be ok.

Another fender bender while trying to cross E Street. I hope the person who is unresponsive is going to be fine. Please drive careful people, and don’t pull out onto a street if you can’t see oncoming cars.

sometimes its dang hard when there are large SUVs or trucks parked near the corner and you are trying to pull out into the intersection (though I agree with you)
