Tacoma Rolls at McKinleyville Intersection Monday Morning

A Toyota Tacoma rolled onto its side Monday morning at the intersection of Murray Road and Central Avenue in McKinleyville*, prompting a response from CHP officers and Arcata Fire.

The incident was reported around 8:19 a.m. as a major traffic collision. CHP logs indicate the Tacoma came to rest on its side in the intersection, with damage noted to the left driver’s side. A caller reported a person outside the vehicle at the time of the report.

Fire units were dispatched and an ambulance was en route, according to the log. An additional caller reported someone was cleaning debris from the roadway.

Buddy’s Towing was called to the scene. The roadway was reported clear by approximately 8:53 a.m.
