Miguel, why do you smell booze? Yes, some boaters drink and drive impaired, but I don’t know about this accident.

Alcohol intake, while boating, increases your chance of dying in a boating accident by 50 times.

I’m glad she survived, but that sounds like a very painful injury.

I too, hope she recovers quickly.

She is very lucky the prop did not hit her in the head. I pray she will make a complete recovery.

Terrible news, we were at the lake all day yesterday on a boat fishing, almost nobody was on the lake and very peaceful
Sending positive energy for a speedy recovery

Ugh. So terrible, and avoidable, but happens all too often. Shut the motor off if some one is at the back. Never, ever, NEVER allow bow riding. Your kids will fall off and be under the prop so fast, you cannot see it and react quick enough.

Wow. If it’s the same people. We fished next to that group for hours, they seemed ok and not all hammered, we asked them to turn up the music a few times and they lowered it when songs ended. Sad to hear about accidents like this
