Hint:
If you are going to showcase a new building and grand opening, remove the weed from the gutter out front.

Hurray! Finally getting dispensaries on the South end of town. Perhaps one day Fortuna might finally allow one or two. Plenty of empty buildings available for it.

Rio Dell already has an awesome dispensary, that isn’t completely corporate like this new one. And it’s on the south end of town!

Proper is a joke, and is failing in Eureka because it has competition in eureka. Now it will fail in Rio too. Any competitor at all is too much for Proper.

They are good people but their budtender knowledge and especially their website aren’t anything special. They can’t even correctly identify sativas on their website’s menu.

OTOH, they have much more flower inventory than most dispensaries.

Just what the county needs, more dope. Something to celebrate, right? L.A. investors making another splashdown. Congratulations, libs, you have an addicted society. Masks, pot, meth and fighting dogs. Such a splendid socialist community. Until the next home invasion ….

Why do you think the grand opening of a weed dispensary means there will be more heroin in the county?

Sorry. I don’t think they are selling meth, masks, or fighting dogs. Maybe you are thinking of the bars. Not sure how the masks fit in! Nor am I sure about your good ol days of Rio Dell. Rio Dell seems like it’s experiencing a revival. Root 101, the waffles, bio diesel in Scotia, and now a little herb backing up Grundman’s, makes the RD a must stop!

I say bring it on , flood the market, federally legalize weed and itll make the weed pretty much worthless, perhaps then all the illegal growers up here will shuffle off. Many of the growers up here have got divorced and moved away. They are being replaced with remote bay area workers which is great. Firstly they aren’t criminals, second they pay taxes, third they dont scam welfare and lastly they dont bring crime , mo wade harris characters scoping homes to rob, no armed guards at the grow, nobody getting shot over a weed deal gone wrong, no houses burning down due to shadetree electricians wiring up an indoor scene or hash labs going bang. You can ask what they do for a living without it being awkward .

What ever happened to “just say no ” I guess it left with ” Mothers against drunk drivers ” You don’t think the kids watching these places pop up and the local leaders ( Supervisors, chamber of commerce, etc ) making smoking seem like a great idea. The kids watch their elders and learn from them. You can’t tell me that they can lead to smoking all kinds of stuff including Cigarettes which is portrayed to be evil and Pot good.

My 11 yr old daughter was waking down the street with me the other day. She shakes her head and says, “it’s hobos and cannabis everywhere.” I said “what do you mean?” She tells me to look around. Sure enough.

That’s a sad realization. I feel the same. I can’t drive into the Arcata plaza or drive into Eureka without tons of tweaked out losers roaming around. I’ve seen a man with his pants down masturbating, a woman naked wrapped in a floor rug, a woman trying to pull her own hair out, beggars with inappropriate signs and tons of people nodding out. And sadly, my kids in the backseat witnessing it. That’s just coming into Eureka on 101. Can’t avoid it anywhere! I went to the dollar store in the valley west shopping center yesterday and same thing. Zombies everywhere. It’s disgusting.

The place is super clean, and they offer a ton of my favorite locally sourced brands. They are the nicest staff in Humboldt County hands down. I can’t wait for the grand opening. They said free tacos and $1 pre rolls. Stoked!!!
