[UPDATE 8:17 p.m.] 911 Down in Northern Mendocino
According to the Facebook page of Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office,
We are aware of an issue with telephone landlines in our northern county areas not being able to reach 9-1-1. If your landline telephone still works, you can call our offices at (707) 463-4086. If not, cell phones are still able to reach 9-1-1.
Please know we’re working on this issue and hope to have it resolved quickly.
UPDATE 4:40 p.m.: Senator Mike McGuire tweeted, “We are in touch with @FrontierCorp about the 911 outage in Laytonville (Mendocino County). Frontier is working on a fix now. More to come. Thank you to the @MendoSheriff’s office and Laytonville Fire for their work during this outage.”
UPDATE 8 p.m.: Senator Mike McGuire tweeted, “@FrontierCorp continues to work on the 911 outage in Laytonville (Mendocino County). The company believes they have found the source of the outage. We have asked for an ETA on restoration. More to come.”
UPDATE 8:17 p.m.: Senator Mike McGuire tweeted, “UPDATE on the Laytonville 911 Outage (Mendocino County): Frontier Communications believes they have found the source of the outage, which is located in an AT&T facility. Frontier and AT&T are in contact and work is commencing. We have asked for an ETA on restoration. More to come”
UPDATE Tuesday: The Sheriff’s Office says that this now fixed.

My son is one of those repairmen out there tonight trying to solve and fix the problem. Think good thoughts and for a fast effective repair.
When we asked senator mike McGuire for help when my wife of 40 years was attacked by a known domestic abuser he gave us the finger and sent law enforcement to our home to intimidate and abuse us a second time.
