Redcrest crested like a wave. My glass of water levitated to about 14″ above the table before crashing to the floor. Wish I could have caught that on camera.

Good one, lots of vertical movement combined with a noticeable shift to the west.

Hoping everyone is OK.

Shaken, not stirred, on Pratt Mtn.
My estimate was a 6.0 with some distance and/or depth. 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.
Some time lag from creaking until short but firm rock and roll.
Pratt is pretty solid, thank God.
Monolith perimeter foundation is a nice cushion, too.

Since Pratt is 80 miles from the epicenter, it was probably a 6.0 mag or higher as you mentioned.

That was decent mild roller, with some rattling of bookcase, and good legs. The finish tapered off smoothly, with no bitterness of damage, detected….

Weott on concrete slabs. Heard the rumble and counted to 8 before stopped. Not a lot of swinging here. Shallow., at 2.2 km depth… I expect we’ll have a couple of aftershocks.
AND – we still have internets and power.

Nice quake in Alderpoint. Shook the house for a long time -Mary Alice says it was about 5 seconds but it felt like 20 to me. She’s probably right. A definite earthquake but I don’t think there was any damage. I like earthquakes that are interesting but not destructive. Hope it wasn’t worse closer to the epicenter.

Animals are supposed to know a quake is coming slightly before humans become aware of it. Zukie, the dog, came into the living room looking west with anxiety. Then lay down somewhat hidden behind some firewood. We attributed it to her being freaked about some gunfire a couple of hours eariler, but now I’m going with the earthquake. The cats did not manifest anything at all before or during the quake.

Of course cats always feel an earthquake coming on before any other animals do. It’s just that cats don’t care about anything except can openers.
