Just went down 101; the accidents are cleaned up.

Whole lots of water everywhere, though. Looked like there was some flooding in the northbound weaving lane, judging from the splashes I saw flying over vehicles.

Yup… a big cumulus/thunderhead cloud parked over Arcata this afternoon… and dumped.

Humboldt needed a good shower, clean the alleys of old town. Beautiful droplets of water with the sun shining.

Was pleasantly surprised to see only a few bozos on 101 trying to outrace the downpour. Most turned on their warning flashers and SLOWED DOWN! Kudos.

More rain please!!!

Did you just celebrate people dieing while driving our roads?
That seems pretty bad to me. And surely not what makes a good community.
