Photo provided by reader. Around 4:30 this morning, firefighters in Miranda responded to the construction site of the new market. There they discovered a portable potty had been set on fire. Telegraph Ridge Press Release submitted by Peter Lawsky, Chief of the Telegraph Ridge Volunteer Fire Company: A little before 2 A.M.  Telegraph Ridge Volunteer Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Dootyville Doodyville Road in the Ettersburg area.     A vehicle accident on Bell Springs Road started a fire. According to KMUD, Calfire, Alderpoint & Palo Verde firefighters responded.  According to George Monroe of the Southern Humboldt Fire Chief’s Association, “The fire was knocked down. The fire crews are mopping up.” Hat tip to KMUD!

According to KMUD, Doug Bryan of the Southern Humboldt Fire Chief’s Association public information team is reporting that there was a fire near roads D Z and K near Briceland. The two acre fire is now contained. The cause is under investigation. “ Please use caution if travelling near Briceland as fire engines are enroute.”
