I'm a socialist New York Jew, 5th generation on my Father's side. I followed the Grateful Dead out to San Francisco a bunch of times in the 70's and 80's. We decided to stay at the end of the 1989 tour. We bought a house in Berkeley where we still live. I'm a software engineer a couple of years out from retirement. We plan on retiring to Mendocino or Humboldt county.
