Evan Olson: A Life Celebration

On July 18th, friends and family of Evan Olson will gather to celebrate the life he led and the lives he touched during his near 73 years he spent on earth. Evan was born in Garberville to Ole and Len Olson in 1953 and lived all of his years here in Humboldt County. During that time he touched many lives through his work for the postal service, spending time outside of work with those he loved most — his family and friends. Evan’s first wife Wendie passed from cancer when their son Brian was just three years old. Evan later married Keven and they had Kortney. Evan was fortunate and extremely grateful to meet his wife Barb through the postal service and they spent the last 35 years of his life together in deep love and boundless laughter. Barb expanded Evan’s loving family bringing her children into the fold; Stephen, Bryan, and Beth.

Please join Barb, Brian, Kortney and their family and friends at the River Lodge in Fortuna. On Saturday, July 18th @ 2:00. Bring your stories and fond memories. Light fare and beverages will be provided.
