Reported Roll Over Hit and Run Crash Closes Lane on Tish-Tang Road Near Hoopa

A hit and run was reported at approximately 11:30 a.m. today following a collision involving two vehicles on Tish-Tang road near Hoopa, according to California Highway Patrol traffic logs. However, it is unclear if any parties were injured in the wreck.

One vehicle — a Toyota Tacoma — was reportedly found partially down an embankment with “major rollover damage” to the vehicle. It is unclear at this time what the make and model of the second car is, and the status of its driver and/or passengers is unknown at this time.

During the incident, CHP noted that an ambulance driver confirmed taking a passenger to St. Joseph for evaluation, but was not able to verify if that patient had been related to the alleged hit and run accident at Trish-Tang Rd., or was transported from a separate near-by accident.
