Oops: Trinity County Voters Got the Wrong County’s Mailer

While preparing for the upcoming Primary Election, the County Clerk/Recorder/Assessor is addressing an issue where our shared print vendor sent communications from El Dorado County to Trinity County voters. This additional communication will not impact the voters; however, it does provide additional information about how to sign up to track your ballot.

Eligible voters should expect to receive their County Voter Information Guide and their ballot during the week of May 4th.

Voters can review their voter status on the California Secretary of State’s website. https://voterstatus.sos.ca.gov/.

Again, I want to reassure the community we have addressed the problem and have worked with our vendor to ensure all eligible voters will receive their County Voter Information Guide and Vote by Mail ballot timely and correctly.

We want to encourage voters to be prepared for the upcoming election and to create a plan for voting and returning their ballot by 8pm on Election Day.
