Fire in Fields Landing Friday Night

The fire appears to be centered near the coordinates 40.727492, -124.219249, where multiple industrial buildings and marine-related businesses are located

A nearby resident reported hearing “a few booms” roughly 15 minutes before flames became visible. “We could see the sky glowing in the distance,” they said, adding that emergency vehicles arrived quickly, some without audible sirens.

Traffic control was being set up near Railroad Avenue and 3rd Street as additional units responded, including what appeared to be a fire marshal’s vehicle traveling at high speed.

Online map listings identify a business at that location as “Anata Management Solutions,” but that name does not appear to correspond to a known local operation, and the building is believed to be part of a multi-use industrial parcel.

The extent of the damage and whether anyone was injured has not yet been confirmed.
