So weird, I gave that stuff up more than twenty years ago. Doing so, I will say, has been somewhat transformative. Somewhat. I’m not going to get all preachy here. Quitting just was what it was. I’d been into it for the preceding thirty years, until one day I simply stopped. Ditto with alcohol. And giving up drinking really was transformative. If the day comes when I break my decades-long sobriety, I hope it’ll be with cannabis and not alcohol.
