Trinity County Seeks Public Input on Draft Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA) Integrated Plan

The Trinity County Health and Human Services Agency – Behavioral Health (HHSA-BH) Division is inviting community members and stakeholders to provide public comment on its Draft Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA) Integrated Plan.

The draft plan was submitted to the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and made available on the Trinity County Behavioral Health website (click here) on March 31, 2026. The public comment period will remain open through April 30, 2026, providing an opportunity for residents, partners, and interested parties to review the plan and share feedback. Comments may be submitted via email to: [email protected].

In addition, Trinity County HHSA-BH will host a public hearing on the draft plan during the Behavioral Health Advisory Board (BHAB) meeting on April 15, 2026, offering another opportunity for community input. Information regarding the BHAB, as well as a zoom link to the April 15, 2026 BHAB meeting can be accessed here.

All comments received will be reviewed and considered as Trinity County HHSA-BH finalizes the plan. The Final BHSA Integrated Plan is scheduled to be presented to the Trinity County Board of Supervisors for approval on June 16, 2026, and must be submitted to DHCS by June 30, 2026.
