Two-Vehicle Collision Near Blue Lake Boulevard Offramp

A traffic collision involving two vehicles occurred late Wednesday morning on eastbound State Route 299 near the Blue Lake Boulevard offramp, just east of Glendale in Humboldt County.

According to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page, the crash was reported around 11:26 a.m. and involved a white 1999 Subaru and an orange Jeep. Emergency personnel were dispatched promptly, with units arriving on scene by 11:33 a.m.

Initial reports indicated that one driver was spotted in a nearby grassy area with a child beside the vehicle. The extent of any injuries remains unknown at this time.

No significant traffic blockage was reported as a result of the incident.
