Exactly who are you threatening with retaliation? Who is your “we”? The airline? The people who think illegal immigration is damaging to the citizens of the country? The people in Humboldt County who use it because it’s an alternative to the cost gouging of monopolies ? Thank you Avelo! And Thank You to the administrators at ACV who helped bring Avelo here! That is 200,000 people who saved lots on airfare! And don’t forget- since we have Avelo the other airline United had to bring prices down. If Avelo leaves then United will return to their extortionary pricing scheme which only allows the wealthy to avoid driving hundreds of miles to get affordable travel. I don’t appreciate the foolish people who would have us boycott the airline that keeps long distance travel affordable for us less wealthy to get to funerals, weddings, etc…I say “Shame on them” for advocating economic oppression on their local community. Find another windmill to tilt at…Hey- how about the windmills? Go there, crazy woke saviors of humanity..

My last Avelo flight was.a nightmare. They brought us back to burbank as they said they couldnt land even tho the united planes did. Felt like pilot wanted overtime or something. A friend waiting for me said wtf i could see the wheels of your plane! He did 2 attempts, took us out over ocean to “wait on weather” & i literally watched a plane go thru the fog&land with no prob so figured we would too. Nope.
No one at burbank to help us get a flight, their counter was closed, &gate attendants talked shit on us passengers loudly. They thought we came from Washington, said the alaska plane behind you couldnt land, i said alaska doesnt fly into our airport, he raised his voice saying whatever call customer service. There was a 3-4 hour wait fo talk to their customer service so everyone had to just book another flight. They finally called back after 5 hours, never refunded all my costs, have read its a bit of a scam.they run.
They abandoned a veteran in a wheelchair to the point he just started screaming help at the top of his lungs in the airport.
We heard workers&airport cops saying did you hear about that avelo flight?
I said to one cop i was on that flight. He said trust me the low fares arent really worth it.
The window in the plane was held on by clear packing tape. Filthy with,trash and gross used kleenex on my seat.
When i finally got on plane next day the stewardess did a cheech and chong thing over the mic, hiiiiiii we are going to wait where huh uh haha giggle i guess arcata? Not funny. Felt like saying eat the edibles after the flight lady!
On each flight i overheard the stewards say that they were working way long shifts, there werent enough employees &overall not being treated well.
Ill never fly them again after that experience. Especially when an airport cop at their hub is basically saying dont fly them.
Now deportation flights of hancuffed unaccompanied 4yr olds in planes where all passengers hands are tied, how is that safe? In a crash itd be awful.
Am not going to any airport they fly out of. Going back to Santa Rosa for flghts like we used to, no avelo there. Alaska air seems the best, miss having them in arcata.

Wanted to add I had good experiences with avelo up until that flight, told others to fly them. A few other folks on plane said same. Somethings shifted downward in quality&customer care&employee treatment. After recommending them to lots of folks locally i felt needt o speak out.
