Around 6:30 this evening, a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of B Street and Wabash Avenue in Eureka, sending at least one person to the hospital. Emergency personnel closed B Street at the crash site.

According to reporter Ryan Hutson, who was on the scene, “One woman I saw got taken away in an ambulance,” while both vehicles involved had their airbags deployed.

The person that drove onto the plants, should be required to replant the planter.

Obviously needs a curb fart out, green lane painting, and warning pedestrian signs.

Now that there’s a four way at A and Wabash, I guess someone was hitting the gas rather exuberantly.

I live at Wabash and Pine, that four way is on Wabashh and A. It’s run through dozens of times daily. That four way is run through dozens of times dauly. The street lighting lights the trees behind the signs at night, as well it’s a visually odd intersection. Anyhow, if one misses the fact that there is a four way, one need not employ exuberance with the gas pedal to achieve wrecking speeds by Wabash and B.
