Major Roadwork Scheduled Friday, March 14 through Thursday, March 20

The following scheduled roadwork has been verified at the time of release. Please keep in mind work is weather permitting and subject to change. Del Norte County
- U.S. 101 (35.8/36.5) – Construction at the Dr. Fine Bridge near Smith River will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C101WA
- U.S. 199 (8.1/8.6) – Emergency work near the Signal Peak Sidehill Viaduct 1-70 will begin on Monday, March 17. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C199KA
Humboldt County
- Route 36 (11/11.5) – Bridge work near Pamplin Grove will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C36UA
- Route 36 (15.7/16.3) – Slide removal near Devil’s Elbow Picnic Area will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should anticipate up to 60-minute delays. In addition, full closures will be scheduled overnight between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. LC#C36HA
- Route 36 (25.3/25.4) – Bridge work east of Bridgeville will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C36UA
- U.S 101 (42.3/43) – Emergency work south of the Bear Creek Bridge continues. A northbound lane closure will be in effect and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#T101AA
- U.S. 101 (82.7) – Construction work at the Indianola Cutoff will continue. Southbound 101 access is currently unavailable due to a median closure. Southbound motorists should choose an alternate route. LC#C101FD
- Route 254 (3.1/4.2) – Slipout repair between Hodges Road and Fish Creek Road will continue. Motorists should expect minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C254JA
- Route 254 (18.4/19.1) – There is a full closure from Lum Street to half a mile north of Marin Garden Club Grove due to emergency work. Motorists should choose an alternate route. LC#T254AA
- Route 255 (8.5) – Utility work in Arcata at G Street will occur on Tuesday, March 18. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P255CA
- Route 299 (4.2/5.4) – Electrical work from the Mill Creek Bridge 4-188 to Blue Lake will begin on Tuesday, March 18. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C299HA
- Route 299 (5.4) – Electrical work at the Blue Lake Overcrossing 4-193 will begin on Tuesday, March 18. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. A full on ramp and off ramp closures will also be in effect. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C299HA
- Route 299 (11/11.4) – Construction about 11 miles from U.S. 101 will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C299FA
- Route 299 (19/20.6) – Utility work from Bair Road to Chezem Road will begin on Tuesday, March 18. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#P299BA
- Route 299 (20.6) – Utility work at Chezem Road will occur on Monday, March 17. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#P299BA
- Route 299 (29/30.5) – Utility work will occur from Titlow Hill Road to Cedar Creek Road on Friday, March 14. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#P299BA
- Route 299 (29/30.5) – Utility work from Titlow Hill Road to Cedar Creek Road will occur on Sunday and Monday, March 16-17. One-way traffic control will be in effect overnight from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#P299BA
- Route 299 (29/30.5) – Utility work from Mason Gulch to Cedar Creek Road will occur on Tuesday, March 18. One-way traffic control will be in effect overnight from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#P299BA
- Route 299 (30.6/33.2) – Utility work between Cedar Creek Road and East Fork Willow Creek Bridge 4-115 will occur on Wednesday and Thursday, March 19-20. One-way traffic control will be in effect overnight from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Travelers should expect 10-minute delays. LC#P299BA
- Route 299 (33.2/35.3) – Construction work near the East Fork Campground will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#P299BA
Lake County
- Route 20 (19.7) – Utility work near Lucerne at Clayton Creek Road will occur on Thursday, March 20. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#P29BA
- Route 175 (26.5/26.7) – Utility work in Middletown from the Dry Creek Cutoff to Santa Barbara Avenue will occur on Tuesday, March 18. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#P175BA
Mendocino County
- Route 1 (6.5) – Utility work will occur north of Anchor Bay near Gypsy Flat Road on Tuesday, March 18. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P1BA
- Route 1 (31.1/31.6) – Bridge work at the Elk Creek Bridge 10-120 continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1WA
- Route 1 (51.4/52.1) – Bridge work north of Mendocino at the Jack Peters Creek Bridge 01-43484 from Lansing Street to south of Road 500D. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1VA
- Route 1 (54.9) – Utility work will occur at the Caspar Vista Point on Friday, March 14. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P1BA
- Route 1 (66.8) – Utility work will occur north of Cleone at Little Valley Road on Wednesday, March 19. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P1BA
- Route 1 (75.4/76.1) – Emergency work south of Westport from the Blues Beach Trailhead to the Overlook will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 30-minute delays. LC#C1TA
- Route 1 (78.1/78.4) – Paving work in Westport at Wages Creek Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1CB
- Route 20 (2/5.8) – Tree work at various locations from Fort Bragg at Summer Lane to Camp One Access Road will begin on Monday, March 17. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#P20AA
- U.S. 101 (48.9/55.2) – Road work south of the North Willits Railroad Crossing to Big Trails Drive continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 20-minute delays. LC#M101SA
- U.S. 101 (48.9/55.2) – Electrical work north of Big Trails Drive will begin on Friday, March 14. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101BC
- U.S. 101 (55.3/55.4) – Electrical work south of Shimmins Ridge Road will begin on Monday, March 17. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101BC
- U.S. 101 (59.3) – Electrical work at Route 162 will begin on Monday, March 17. A full northbound off ramp closure will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and motorists should use an alternative route. LC#C101BC
- U.S. 101 (59.9) – Bridge work at the Long Valley Creek Bridge 10-180 continues. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101NA
- U.S. 101 (57.7/61.3) – Electrical work from the Long Valley Creek Bridge 10-97 to the Arnold Bridge and Overhead 10-179 will begin on Monday, March 17. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101BC
- Route 162 (7.9/8.4) – Bridge work at the Eel River Bridge 10-236 continues. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C162HA
- Route 162 (10/11.5) – Emergency work from Division Creek to the Rodeo Creek Bridge 10-237 will begin on Friday, March 14. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C162IA
- Route 253 (7/16.5) – Tree work at various locations from Page Road to Stipp Lane will begin on Tuesday, March 18. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P253CA
- Route 271 (16.1) – Emergency work at Bear Pen Road. A full road closure remains in effect and motorists should use an alternative route. LC#T271AA
