Major Roadwork Scheduled Friday, March 7, through Thursday, March 13

The following scheduled roadwork has been verified at the time of release. Please keep in mind work is weather permitting and subject to change. Del Norte County
- U.S. 101 (35.8/36.5) – Construction at the Dr. Fine Bridge near Smith River will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C101WA
Humboldt County
- Route 36 (4.6) – Utility work near Carlotta will occur on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 11 and 12. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#P36BA
- Route 36 (11/11.5) – Bridge work near Pamplin Grove will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C36UA
- Route 36 (15.7/16.3) – Slide removal near Devil’s Elbow Picnic Area continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate up to 30-minute delays. LC#C36HA
- Route 36 (19.6) – Emergency work west of Bridgeville will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should expect 5-minute delays. LC#T36JA
- Route 36 (25.3/25.4) – Bridge work east of Bridgeville will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C36UA
- Route 36 (32.3/36.1) – Tree work between Bridgeville and Dinsmore will occur on Monday, March 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#P36BA
- U.S. 101 (82.7) – Construction work at the Indianola Cutoff will continue. Southbound 101 access is currently unavailable due to a median closure. Southbound motorists should choose an alternate route. LC#C101FD
- Route 254 (3.1/4.2) – Slipout repair between Hodges Road and Fish Creek Road will continue. Motorists should expect minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C254JA
- Route 254 (6.1) – Utility work near the Miranda Post Office will occur on Thursday, March 13. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#P254CA
- Route 254 (18.4/19.1) – There is a full closure from Lum Street to half a mile north of Marin Garden Club Grove due to emergency work. Motorists should choose an alternate route. LC#T254AA
- Route 299 (11/11.4) – Construction about 11 miles from U.S. 101 will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C299FA
- Route 299 (30.6/33.2) – Utility work between Cedar Creek Road and East Fork Willow Creek Bridge will conclude on Friday, March 7. One-way traffic control will be in effect overnight from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Travelers should expect 10-minute delays. LC#P299BA
- Route 299 (33.2/35.3) – Construction work near the East Fork Campground will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays. LC#P299BA
- Route 299 (37.2/38.8) – Utility work near Willow Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Travelers should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#P299BA
Lake County
- Route 20 (1.1/2.4) – Construction work from Blue Lakes Road to Irvine Avenue will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#P20KA
- Route 20 (4.7/5.5) – Tree work will occur west of Upper Lake from Saratoga Springs Road to Witter Springs Road on Friday, March 7 and Monday, March 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P20AA
- Route 20 (19/19.1) – Road work in Lucerne from Laurel Dell Drive to Rosemont Drive will begin on Monday, March 10. Lane closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#P20AA
- Route 20 (28.4/28.7) – Utility work in Clearlake Oaks from Hoover Street to High Valley Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#C20AA
- Route 29 (20.7) – Utility work in Lower Lake at Marsh View Way will occur on Tuesday, March 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P29BA
Mendocino County
- Route 1 (14.9/15.8) – Tree work in Point Arena from Iverson Avenue to the Cal Fire Point Arena Fire Station will occur on Tuesday, March 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P1BA
- Route 1 (30.6/33.2) – Tree work south of Elk will occur at various locations on Wednesday, March 12. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P1BA
- Route 1 (31.1/31.6) – Bridge work at the Elk Creek Bridge 10-120 continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1WA
- Route 1 (51.4/52.1) – Bridge work north of Mendocino at the Jack Peters Creek Bridge 01-43484 from Lansing Street to south of Road 500D. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1VA
- Route 1 (75.4/76.1) – Emergency work south of Westport from the Blues Beach Trailhead to the Overlook will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 30-minute delays. LC#C1TA
- Route 1 (78.1/78.4) – Culvert work in Westport at Wages Creek Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1CB
- U.S. 101 (48.9/55.2) – Road work south of the North Willits Railroad Crossing to Big Trails Drive continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 20-minute delays. LC#M101SA
- U.S. 101 (59.9) – Bridge work at the Long Valley Creek Bridge 10-180 continues. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101NA
- U.S. 101 (70.5) – Utility work will occur at the Cal Fire Laytonville Station on Friday, March 7. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P101GA
- Route 128 (20.1/22/9) – Tree work will occur in Philo at various locations from Philo Greenwood Road to Ray’s Road on Thursday, March 13. One-way traffic control will be effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P128BA
- Route 128 (42.2) – Utility work at the Elkhorn Creek Bridge 10-65 will occur on Tuesday, March 11. One-way traffic control will be effect from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P128BA
- Route 162 (.1/.6) – Guardrail work from U.S. 101 to Helms Road will occur on Friday, March 7. One-way traffic control will be effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C162JA
- Route 162 (7.9/8.4) – Bridge work at the Eel River Bridge 10-236 continues. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C162HA
- Route 253 (.1/.5) – Tree work from Jct Route 128 to the Anderson Creek Bridge 10-225 will occur on Monday and Tuesday, March 10-11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P253CA
- Route 253 (1.7/2.3) – Road work near Boonville at Bald Hills Ranch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C253DA
- Route 253 (7/9.1) – Utility work will occur from Page Road to Boonville Ukiah Road on Wednesday, March 12. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P253CA
- Route 253 (12.8/13.3) – Road work at Butler Ranch Road will occur on Friday, March 7. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P253CA
- Route 271 (16.1) – Emergency work at Bear Pen Road. A full road closure remains in effect and motorists should use an alternative route. LC#T271AA

The article says one way traffic control at devil’s elbow , but the webpage says the road is closed. Which is it, does anybody know?
Closed likely until 5 p.m. This is the scheduled roadwork but the slide is an emergency.
I’ll have a post up soon.
