U.S. Attorney Announces Efforts to Protect Voting Rights and Election Integrity for November 2024 General Election
Press release from the Department of Justice:
United States Attorney Ismail J. Ramsey announced [yesterday] that Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) Sarah Griswold will lead the efforts of his Office in connection with the Justice Department’s nationwide Election Day Program for the upcoming November 5, 2024, general election. AUSA Griswold has been appointed to serve as the District Election Officer (DEO) for the Northern District of California, and in that capacity is responsible for overseeing the District’s handling of election day complaints of voting rights concerns, threats of violence to election officials or staff, and election fraud, in consultation with Justice Department Headquarters in Washington.
United States Attorney Ramsey said, “Every citizen must be able to vote without interference or discrimination and to have that vote counted in a fair and free election. Similarly, election officials and staff must be able to serve without being subject to unlawful threats of violence. The Department of Justice will always work tirelessly to protect the integrity of the election process.”
The Department of Justice has an important role in deterring and combatting discrimination and intimidation at the polls, threats of violence directed at election officials and poll workers, and election fraud. The Department will address these violations wherever they occur. The Department’s longstanding Election Day Program furthers these goals and also seeks to ensure public confidence in the electoral process by providing local points of contact within the Department for the public to report possible federal election law violations.
Federal law protects against such crimes as threatening violence against election officials or staff, intimidating or bribing voters, buying and selling votes, impersonating voters, altering vote tallies, stuffing ballot boxes, and marking ballots for voters against their wishes or without their input. It also contains special protections for the rights of voters, and provides that they can vote free from interference, including intimidation, and other acts designed to prevent or discourage people from voting or voting for the candidate of their choice. The Voting Rights Act protects the right of voters to mark their own ballot or to be assisted by a person of their choice (where voters need assistance because of disability or inability to read or write in English).
United States Attorney Ramsey stated that: “The franchise is the cornerstone of American democracy. We all must ensure that those who are entitled to the franchise can exercise it if they choose, and that those who seek to corrupt it are brought to justice. In order to respond to complaints of voting rights concerns and election fraud during the upcoming election, and to ensure that such complaints are directed to the appropriate authorities, AUSA/DEO Griswold will be on duty in this District while the polls are open, with the assistance of AUSA Kimberly Hopkins and AUSA Katherine Lloyd-Lovett. They can be reached by the public at the following telephone numbers: AUSA Griswold, (408) 535-5060; AUSA Hopkins, (415) 436-6991; AUSA Lloyd-Lovett, (510) 637-3932.”
In addition, the FBI will have special agents available in each field office and resident agency throughout the country to receive allegations of election fraud and other election abuses on election day. The local FBI field office can be reached by the public at (415) 553-7400.
Complaints about possible violations of the federal voting rights laws can be made directly to the Civil Rights Division in Washington, DC by complaint form at https://civilrights.justice.gov/ or by phone at (800) 253-3931.
United States Attorney Ramsey said, “Ensuring free and fair elections depends in large part on the assistance of the American electorate. It is important that those who have specific information about voting rights concerns or election fraud make that information available to the Department of Justice.”
Please note, however, in the case of a crime of violence or intimidation, please call 911 immediately and before contacting federal authorities. State and local police have primary jurisdiction over polling places, and almost always have faster reaction capacity in an emergency.

And yet, the Demonocrat presidential candidate has used many of these crimes in her campaign, trying to bribe and buy votes for starters. A vote for her is a vote for “Fraudulent Dictator in Chief,” certainly not “Commander in Chief,” as she doesn’t have the slightest clue about anything presidential. The word Democrat is practically synonymous with fraud. California and voter integrity will never happen.
How ironic can you get, Harris is trying to buy votes, what is Musk doing? I dont even have to post a link to prove it, since it is common knowledge he is giving money for people to sign a petition, but only in the swing states. I would like a link on how she is buying votes, since I have not heard that one yet. She was the DA of California, a senator from CA from 2017 to 2021, and was Vice President, but if you say she has no experince ok. Trump on the other hand has bankrupted 6 companies, after receiving $400 million from his daddy. You want to talk about bribing, here is Trump telling the oil companies he will promise to scrap climate laws if US oil bosses donated $1bn…..https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/may/09/trump-oil-ceo-donation

Citing the NY Post is not what most people would consider to be an unimpeachable foray into the truth.
Right? Kamala tried to buy my vote but she got outbid by Elon – hard to beat a million bucks!
The AG needs to be investigating this.
THIS IS FROM GATEWAY PUNDENT.
Recently, the potential Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) crisis came to our attention when Democrats began telegraphing that overseas voters could be the key in 2024 to winning and perhaps even overturning the election results one week or more AFTER the election.
As reported earlier by Patty McMurray, the DNC’s stated goal of winning the votes of approximately 9 million Americans through its Democrats Abroad website seems impossible, given that according to a recent report by the federal government FVAP website, only 4.4 million US citizens reside overseas, and only 2.8 million of those are of voting age.
Reuters recently wrote about the DNC’s plan to spend $300,000 to register “9 million” UOCAVA voters leading up to the 2024 election. According to the government website FVAP, there are only 2.8 million eligible UOCAVA voters.
Indeed, particularly since we have such an upstanding model citizen who would never consider any kind of unethical behavior as an alternative, the choice should be straightforward.
