[UPDATE 7:07 p.m.: Knocked Down] Structure Fire Near Bridgeville: Two Buildings and a Vehicle Ablaze

A structure fire broke out this evening near Bridgeville off Highway 36 near mile marker 24.7, with reports coming in around 6:30 p.m. According to the Incident Commander when he arrived on scene, two structures are involved in the blaze. One structure is reported to be heavily involved, with flames consuming much of the building. The second structure has fire in the attic.
In addition to the buildings, a vehicle at the scene has also caught fire. Firefighters are working to contain the flames.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and further updates will be provided as information becomes available.

I am very sorry for the folks that lost two homes and a vehicle. Hope there were no injuries or worse. Thank you, firefighters for putting out the fire quickly. It is nice to know help is not far away.
