College of the Redwoods to Host ACCJC Peer Review Team for Accreditation Visit

The Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) will be sending members of their Peer Review Team to College of the Redwoods for a focused site visit on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024. An open, public forum with the review team is scheduled for 10 to 11 a.m. in the Board Room of the Administration building on the Eureka campus and the broader community is invited to attend.
Reaffirmation of CR’s accreditation occurs every eight years. The ACCJC is an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. Additional information about accreditation, including the filing of complaints against member institutions, can be found at www.accjc.org.
Visitors from the ACCJC will include the Chair, Dr. Vince Rodriguez, the Vice Chair, Dr. Kim Armstrong, and an academic representative, Dr. Michelle Trautt. The liaison for the ACCJC, Vice President Nickawanna Shaw, will also be in attendance.
