Structure Fire North of Junction City Spread to Vegetation Early This Morning

At about 3:30 a.m., a structure in the 200 block Conrad Gulch Rd, north of Junction City caught fire and eventually began to spread to nearby vegetation. Firefighters were able to halt the fire spread at a 1/4 of an acre.

According to traffic over the scanner, the Red Cross was requested to assist two people who were displaced by the fire. One was reportedly taken to the hospital.

I am very sorry those folks lost their home to fire, but happy they were able to get out in time. I pray the one taken to the hospital will be fine. Thank you, firefighters and the Red Cross
