About 3:40 this afternoon, an apartment on C Street in Eureka caught fire. . Fire was controlled in five minutes from the time the call came in. Fire appears to be contained to an upstairs unit.

Firefighters from Humboldt Bay Fire arrived on scene quickly. The fire in the multi unit building was controlled in about five minutes from the time the call came in. Fire appears to be contained to an upstairs unit.

Glad no one was injured or killed. As always, thank you Humboldt Bay Fire men and women on your quick action to keep the fire upstairs and put out quickly.
