No Need for Alarm During Training Event at HCOE Tomorrow

Emergency lights featurePlease be advised that the local chapter of the California Association of School Transportation Officials (CASTO) will be holding a training event on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm at the Humboldt County Office of Education, located at 901 Myrtle Avenue in Eureka.  During this time, multiple emergency vehicles may be seen in and around the HCOE campus with emergency lights and sirens on.  This is part of the training and there is no need for public alarm.  All necessary local law enforcement agencies are aware of the event.  Please do not contact local law enforcement or the media to report or inquire about the event.  Please direct any questions or concerns to Chris Marney, HCOE Transportation Supervisor at 707-445-7090 or Klark Swan, HCOE School Safety Director at 707-445-7096.

I am sure that Chris Marney the HCOE Transportation Supervisor will be buried in calls along with Klark Swan HCOE School Safety Director. A large number of folks will probably not read this warning.
