Cause ? Stupid campers or spontaneous combustion ?
Maybe a hot exhaust pipe from a Green Diamond Nursery truck???
Appears to have started just north of the GDRCO property near the river then the wind blew it SE towards the nursery. Burned mostly grass and poisonoak. Crews stopped the fire well before the nursery fence.
Outstanding!!!! Job well done as always fire crews!!!!
Over Blue Lake at about 4:30
It did seem a little warmer today.
It definitely was hotter, out here in Bridgeville!!!
Wait about 2 days. Possible snow in the Siskiyou/Salmon/Trinity Mountains.
Meanwhile they are doing prescribed burns outside of hayfork. What a bright idea that is…..
Way to roll firefighters! Darn proud of all of you protecting our land, structures and people.
Also 2 fire starts today, one near Willow Creek and one Hoopa.
