Very glad to hear the two juveniles only have non serious injuries. I am a REACH Air Ambulance member, and I am getting sick and tired of these people refusing to come to an accident scene because of adverse weather conditions. What the hell good does it do to be a member and they refuse to come. I think some training with our outstanding Coast Guard would greatly help their ability to respond. To bad our Coast Guard cannot offer an air ambulance membership service. I would be first in line!
If the weather is too bad, the weather is too bad. All air ambulance services follow the same green-yellow-red weather condition classifications. If it’s not safe for them to fly they shouldn’t fly. Yes, it sucks in an area like this where transport times to a hospital can be so long, all the more reason to support local hospitals, fire departments, and ambulance companies.
No Joke, tell that to the Coast Guard!
Yeah your $60 a year pays for the 3 person crew to die and the million + dollar machine to be destroyed flying in weather it wasn’t designed for. Those bastards!
Pike Mortar, I take offense at you comment. The only thing I agree with is your last to words! I have said before it is time to get the Air ambulance in a position so they can fly just like our Coast Guard!!! Also it costs more than $60 a year to belong.
The asphalt was surprisingly slick today… shows how little rain we’ve had lately.
Save someones life, by a better tire, michelin pilot sports do pretty good in rain ,oil , loose dirt.
