[UPDATE 7:47 a.m.] 3.4 Earthquake Near Covelo

This morning at 7:15 a.m. an earthquake that is estimated to be 3.4 magnitude hit about 7 miles west northwest of Covelo in Mendocino.

People as far away as southern Benbow reported feeling the quake. You can report if you felt it by clicking here.

UPDATE 7:47 a.m.: A second 2.0 quake popped off at 7:44 a.m.

No wonder my 14 month old dog was acting funny and sniffing our floors. He tried to climb onto my lap, but I didn’t let him he weighs 65 lbs. I don’t like Earthquaks or Fires.
