Kevin McKeag:Teddy Bear in a Grizzly Suit

Kevin McKeag January 28th, 1955 – May 1st, 2014

From McKeag’s family: A remembrance and an invitation–

How do you describe someone like Kevin? He was a diverse and complex man, but if we had to pick a few words to sum him up, it would be Rebel Rouser. He was a bad boy, with a big grin. He was a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a grandpa, a lover, and a friend who knew the value of friendship. He was a hunter, a fisherman, a biker, a partier, a teddy bear who liked to wear a grizzly bear suit, and sometimes a hard worker, and of course, we can’t leave out the fact that he was hardheaded, stubborn and at times a pain in the butt. You had to love him for who he was.

Please join us for a celebration of his life on Saturday, May, 17th at 2:00pm at his home in Myers Flat. Please bring your favorite pot luck dish and your favorite Kevin story. Follow the signs from the Meyers Flat off-ramps.
