Diesel Grow Meeting Tonight

With an ugly Diesel spill still freshly oozing across our minds, we all ought to think about attending tonight’s meeting at the Vet’s Hall in Garberville from 7-9. I know many people are concerned about addressing marijuana problems but I firmly believe that if we don’t, the federal government will–and they won’t be friendly when they do it.

As the invite I received said, “Organizers of the meeting are hoping many will come forth to share ideas, pledge energy, and learn what their neighbors think about these matters. It’s an opportunity for anyone to get involved.”

I’ve heard wonderful ideas so far ranging from changing the buyers’ perception of what weed (indoor or outdoor) should cost the most (many indoor growers I have heard about apparently either buy or grow a little outdoor organic weed for their own consumption) to changing young people’s perception of indoor growing negatively with music, art, etc.

Our community can work together to make life safer and healthier for everybody. Hopefully, I will see you tonight.

UPDATE: In other related news (I always wanted to say that!), Rep. Barney Frank has proposed making less than 100 grams of Marijuana legal. “The vast amount of human activity ought to be none of the government’s business,” Frank said during a Capitol Hill news conference. “I don’t think it is the government’s business to tell you how to spend your leisure time.” Texas Representative Ron Paul is the co-sponsor of this bill.
