Another Fire in Salmon Creek
Tree struck by Lightning
On my way back from seeing the fire on the ridge, I spotted another fire between Hardy’s and Michael’s. A tree had been struck by lightning and was smoldering. Since the Salmon Creek Fire Crew was still busy on the Twin Ponds fire, my husband and two oldest grabbed our pump and rushed off to fight it. They’re still there.

I hope they were able to put out the fire.
They did but we are still checking out the spot periodically.
I am glad they are back safe and sound.
