Get those outdoor chores done this morning or enjoy the comparatively good weather with a hike* because tomorrow the National Weather Service predicts rain and mountain snow. There might even be some showers this afternoon, they say.

The chance of precipitation will increase through Tuesday. Then start decreasing across most of the region Wednesday. Thursday is predicted to be sunny.

Snow levels could drop as low as 2000 feet.

*Remember to keep a six foot distance between yourself and others if you are out exercising.

Just a bit of history to put things in perspective- perspective is not denial, it’s reason. Just because it has been a few years.

Do you have a link? The image is too low of quality to be useful.

Also, reason is not an appreciated attribute in discussions here.

Nevermind, I got one:

Yeah, because AIDS being compared to Covid is reasonable. Ha.

More panic mongering math by the WHO:

It took 67 days from the 1st reported case to reach the first 100K cases, 11 days for the second 100K & just 4 days for the third 100K”- @DrTedros

A week ago you griped about my math and formulas regarding Covid numbers, saying the “numbers are only good for stats” and “it’s too early to say anything” and here you are putting those numbers up against already over pandemics, AIDS, and general death.

Obfuscating.

It’s a pandemic. We humans like to compare like things with like things to get a relative sense of meaning. Try it.

Like things?

What’s it like AIDS?

Bee stings?

Old age?

Drownings?

How about no. The numbers are all I need.
