Good idea. Get the little plague-bearers together to incubate twice a day. Why was school cancelled, again?
It’s grab and go meals. We can’t expect children to go hungry during all this. Good thing you aren’t in education because you have no kindness toward children!
you sound like the harsh person here. tell me how was she showing anything like kindness or no kindness to children by posting here about a criticism of logic
I’m surprised any families need free lunches around here. I thought all you mom and pop dope growers were so community oriented you helped out you’re neighbors.
Lots of children are low income and depend on these meals that’s why the continue to offer them. I’m sure they are practicing sanitizing and social distancing as best they can. It’s better to offer it than for these children to go hungry. The elderly are the most vulnerable but everything is shutting down to help control the spread. They’re limiting contact but still providing much needed meals for the children.
Not everyone grows around here! And with the way everything is changing families need more help than ever! The changes in the industry affect everyone in the community especially those who work minimum wage jobs because there is less spending on things like restaurants and retail goods.
While this is a good idea, I think it can be approved on. The article states children “do not have to attend the school to receive meal.” It then states children “must be present to receive meals.” Why not leave the kids at home and just show your ID when picking up meals? If, that is, the school doesn’t trust someone who tells them they are parents of children in the school? Keep the little “plague-bearers” at home. Also, while it may be true that schools are germ factories remember that the kids are there at the requirement of adults.
I’d be interested in how many they actually serve.
It’s great to feed kids but lazy ass parents that don’t cook are the biggest problem. When they run out of microwave food they’re screwed and out of money
