SHUSD Hopes to Have Food Service to Students This Week

Press release from the Southern Humboldt Unified School District:

Dear Southern Humboldt Families,

We are currently meeting to outline and coordinate our Food Services Program and other services that are within our ability to provide. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this stressful and uncertain time. Our mission is to ensure public safety while also offering services to our community.

We are hoping to have food services available no later than Friday March 20, 2020, but may have them available as soon as Thursday March 19.

Other schools are already providing bagged meals and ANY child under the age of 18 will be provided with a meal. If you cannot come to a SHUSD pick up site, you may go to any school for a bagged lunch.

As previously stated we will be sending out regular updates each Friday to inform our community of any pertinent information. Please continue to monitor the District Website, Facebook, and the Schoolwise app/All Calls for updates.
