I once experienced a tornado and it was on the fringe. The noise the wind makes is something I will never forget. It is haunting. We stayed in place and didn’t ventured out. There’s a reason they tell you to seek shelter immediately. And that doesn’t mean go outside. Most people who are severely injured or lose their lives is because of flying debris. Even at 50 mph a small piece of metal or tin will go right thru you. At 100 mph everything is lethal.

I don’t think they realized how bad it was prior to leaving the bar?

Me too. Good guy, the kind of guy everybody got along with. I went to school with him for three years, nobody ever had a bad thing to say about him. He came from a stand-up family too. Rest in peace. Condolences.
