With Friday predicted to be sunny in Southern Humboldt, the 3rd annual Two Cities sale could bring a throng of shoppers to check out the good deals in Garberville and Redway. And, this could help businesses and non-profits reach new customers. Jenny Early, Executive Director of the Southern Humboldt Chamber of Commerce, says the area is building a network of supporting organizations and shops that work together to lift each other and the community.

two city sale flyer“We are collaborating with local brick & mortar stores, youth groups, non-profit organizations and small businesses to help bring the unity back in our community!” explained Jenny Early, Executive Director of the Southern Humboldt Chamber of Commerce.

She said she hopes “to see the main streets of Garberville and Redway fill up this year with pop up tents and tables! This is a community sale so items can be new, used, baked or homemade.”

The stores in town will have tables in front with goods for sale, some restaurants might have food for sale and maybe samplers of what is inside, and organizations will have booths, she told us.

“It’s going to be a busy day in town on September 20th with the Farmer’s Market happening, the Grand Re-Opening of the Security Store (ribbon cutting at noon) and of course our annual community sale!” Early explained.
