Major Injury Accident on 299 Early This Morning

On 06/11/2019 at approximately 12:05 AM, [Terrance] Thomas was driving a 1997 Ford Explorer E/B on SR-299 west of Westgate Rd. at an unknown speed. For reasons yet to be determined, Thomas allowed the Ford to leave a direct course of travel and the Ford left the roadway. The Ford rolled over and came to rest on its side blocking both lanes of SR-299. Thomas was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Eureka for injuries sustained in the collision. The right front passenger of the Ford, Williams, declined medical aid at the scene.

Due to the severity of Thomas’ injuries, it is unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs were a factor in this collision. The investigation is ongoing. CHP TC report 299

299 is rapidly catching up with 36 as far as having the most wrecks!!! I hope this race stops soon!!!!
