Silver Sedan Over the Embankment on 101

A silver four door sedan almost hit another vehicle then went over the embankment towards the river off Hwy 101 near Patricks Point Drive, according to a Emergency Communications Center dispatcher relaying information from a witness.

The vehicle is reportedly 100 feet down the embankment and patient(s) may need to be extricated, according to a report over the scanner.

UPDATE 11:53 a.m.: There was a “Misroute”, according to the scanner and a CHP incident in Mendocino County was misidentified as belonging to Humboldt County at the same mile marker.

The incident in Mendocino has no injuries.
