Pge doesnt give anyone anything except a charge for billable hours . 1300 dollars just to have their engineers check their own system to see if there is room for you to upgrade to 200 amps from 100 amps . You would think they would have that calculated somewhere already . Not only that but you have to send them several photos of their own poles again they should know where their poles are. Just saying.
They spent billions on their “enhanced vegetation management” project. At my place they cut perfectly straight, healthy trees that were not a threat to the lines, while leaving larger trees that leaned heavily towards the lines. The tree markers I spoke with were fresh out of college and didn’y know squat. And now we’re paying for it. The PUC is worthless, likely to levels of criminality.
