Ferndale’s Gianna Regli Named 2026 District 1 Dairy Princess

Press release from the California Milk Advisory Board:

former dairy princess crowning newly selected princessGianna Regli of Ferndale was selected as the 2026 Dairy Princess, with Isabella Mora of Fortuna selected as alternate. The contest was held on Friday, May 8, 2026, in Fortuna.

Gianna will represent District 1, which includes Humboldt and Del Norte counties. As Dairy Princess, she will play a key role in meeting CMAB’s community relations objectives.

Gianna, daughter of Jim and Susan Regli, is being raised on her family’s dairy. As a junior, she is a member of the Ferndale Future Farmers of America dairy judging team and shows dairy animals at the Humboldt County Fair. Gianna plays varsity tennis, varsity basketball, and was on the varsity soccer team. After graduation, she would like to get a degree in nursing and become an Emergency Room Nurse.
Crowned 1st Alternate Dairy Princess, Isabella, daughter of Joseph and Kristina Mora, is a junior at Fortuna Union High School and plans to attend College of the Redwoods to become a teacher. Her great-grandparents farmed on the Arcata Bottoms for over 60 years, and her grandparents own the Humboldt Auction Yard. Isabella showed dairy heifers at the Redwood Acres and Humboldt County Fairs. Isabella is an active member of the Future Farmers of America and works at Jersey Scoops, a local ice cream shop.
Gianna’s duties as District 1 Dairy Princess include speaking on behalf of the California dairy industry to various audiences throughout the year. As Dairy Princess and Alternate, Gianna and Isabella will attend a professional development training week focused on presentation skills, advocating for the California dairy industry, leadership, and business etiquette.
Candidates were judged on speaking ability, education, dairy background, poise, and personality. The Miss Vitality award went to candidate Theresa Catana-Moreno and candidate Adison Burgess was the recipient of the Achievement Award.
