Three Vehicle Crash Near Loleta Backs Up Southbound 101

The driver reported being uninjured.
Southbound traffic was backed up for awhile.
Ferndale Fire, Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department, and CHP responded to the crash.

Are you sure that was Ferndale Fire? I don’t see that a call went out for them, and their district extends only halfway across Fernbridge. If it was north of Fernbridge on 101 it would have been a Loleta Fire call.
I’m reporting from info said over the scanner. What I heard was Loleta called out as well as Fortuna and Ferndale. But the only one I heard confirmed there was Ferndale. Scanner traffic can be tricky though.
