This off ramp needs to have a wrong way spike strip, seriously. Wrong way drivers here happen nearly daily. The Casino is in this area, out of town visitors can easily get confused here. People who are drunk definitely get confused here and enter the freeway going south in the north bound lanes. Major life changing accidents have already occurred because of this. And yet, Cal Trans has yet to add further protections. There should be a HUGE public outcry over this, a campaign to get CalTrans action. A spike strip system would at least disable a wrong way vehicle and perhaps keep it from making it to the freeway. Seems like a no brainer.
