Vehicle Goes Over Cliff in Crash on Highway 101 South of Willits

Traffic collision, crash, wreck, feature iconA vehicle went over a cliff along northbound U.S. Highway 101 just north of the Cal Fire Howard Forest station south of Willits about 4:58 p.m., according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page and a report from a witness. Northbound traffic is stopped, according to the witness.

Initial information indicated an older woman was in the vehicle, according to details logged on the CHP traffic incident page. She is possibly badly injured as emergency personnel responding to the crash reported the situation as a possible “1180,” CHP radio code for a traffic collision with major injuries.

An ambulance is responding to the scene.

I pray that lady will recover from her major injuries from that accident. Thank you to the CHP and other first responders from coming to her aid.
