Press release from indivisible Trinidad:

About 25 people turned out Friday for Indivisible Trinidad’s two-hour protest in support of Minneapolis’ general strike against the continuing ICE threat in the Twin Cities, and to demand “ICE Out for Good,” referring to the 37-year-old mother who was murdered by an ICE agent.

The focus of Indivisible protests nationwide — in Minneapolis and Portland, Maine — has been on ICE arrests and invasions of communities, along with Donald Trump’s policies and misguided initiatives, such as his threat to seize Greenland by force.

Indivisible Trinidad (“the few, the fierce”) will host another protest today (Saturday 1/24) on Main Street from noon-2 p.m. Come out and let your voice be heard.

‘Referring to the 37-year-old mother who was murdered by an ICE agent’ statement is such a blatant yellow journalism false statement. This is what separates news from opinion, and reality from propaganda. Very nice smiles however.

You’re confusing a press release with a news article — but you’re correct that it’s a blatant falsehood to claim Renee Good was murdered — nor was she shot for protesting or for attempting to flee — she was shot and killed because she was accelerating her vehicle towards an armed agent who was literally on her bumper.

The pulling of the trigger after he was to the side of the vehicle is still the leading contributor, though.

Heck, she first backed up. Then went forward. Accelerating as she swerved. The fact that so much nitpicking interpretations of videos after the fact as to where he was standing is required to absolve Good and blame Ross when a bullet hit the front windshield is telling that you fully intend to ignore any questions about it.

Preliminary findings also show that a gunshot wound to her right breast and another to her left forearm were not immediately life-threatening.”
Only one bullet went through the front widow. That was the one that hit her in the chest.
Good sustained a gunshot wound to the left temple that exited the right side of her head” That one came through the side window.

Deniers?
you are using the brainwashing term to apply to another thing that you don’t want reasonable discussion on?

Using the term ‘denier’ as a tactic to ‘shut em down’ is not going to age well in my prediction. I know i know i’m prolly just a crazy right winger, but let me explain a fact that you may not want to believe, the time for group imposed authoritarian control on free thought is over and in the end the ‘Deniers’ will be shown to be correct as they always are. Because we never arrive at the divine truth, we get close but to stop and think you have no reason to listen to new evidence or experiences from others is just the attitude from the top that incited the youth at the bottom to rebel. You are the fighting for the system of conformity and against the pursuit of science.

D'Tucker Jebs

No no. Please continue to pursue science.
And when that science demonstrates that the current consensus is wrong, then the scientific community will adopt the new findings.
But, until then, anyone who continues to deny the preponderance of the scientific evidence is, quite simply, a science-denier.

Well science tends to say bullets do not arc 90° from a man shooting from the side to go through the front windshield. Science therefore says some part of him was in the front of the vehicle.

D'Tucker Jebs

Reply to  Yabut

He was to the front and to the side when he fired the first shot.
But it’s also not the first shot I find most egregious–
even if it was completely unnecessary.
It was the second and third shots he fired after he was entirely to the side of the vehicle.
The autopsy shows that she likely would have survived the shot he fired at an angle through the corner of the front windshield.
The fact that he continued firing is why he should stand trial for murder.

The only thing that ends conspiracy theories is facts. Which is why when the conspiracy theory involves multinational corps or government agendas its hard to trust the science they offer as facts to quell the conspiratorial voices of dissent. Especially when the historical record shows us the government and the corporate interest will both fake or hide science to profit or control. Look at J&J talcum powder lawsuit, they did their own study and found it was dangerous but also mathed out that it would cost less to pay the hard to prove damages and continue to sell talc, until it wasn’t. But the reason they lost the biggest claim suit ever is that they knew and lied and then go caught. The truth leaves too much evidence it is hard to suppress and when you can only do it with cult brainwashing it is showing in the words of your faithful.

Evidence is to be tested in the scientific community which i am guessing there not many publishers here. All submitted evidence is to be considered wrong until you can replicate it yourself. This is the issue with Big Science, they rely on gate-kept systems of data collection to generate the ‘data set’ and none of this is a scientific experiment with replication at its core, its all ‘studies’ which can NEVER prove anything beyond an observable correlation. Causality requires isolated variables and controls and a falsifiable assumption. Can you re create the ‘science’ you have absolute faith in? Have you gathered the core samples and tree rings and made layer gradient and depth predictions which your science could show where provable?

True science is trust-less, this is the peer review part. This is why i point to the inability to reproduce results in studies in independent labs as a sign that you should in fact not trust ANY of the modern science. Also this is well know in the fields of actual experimentation, not just data crunching curated datasets which have been normalized to show desired trends.

Trust the scientific process and its skepticism, never trust the ‘science’ or the scientist. Its better to be late to find the truth but be sure with your own experiments than to have faith that your right and trust the science.

I have explained this issue to you before, you claim all kinds of absolutes in the state of knowledge, do you care to reply to the issue of reproduction in TheScience(tm) your stumping so hard for because it supports your side in an argument that makes you feel morally superior to the ‘deniers’?

Science defines a biological male or female– and even then it’s not always so cut and dry.
Gender is a personal consideration, not a scientific finding.

Just like you wouldn’t be required to use science to prove your personal favorite flavor of ice cream, nor should anyone attempt to use science to tell you your opinion is wrong.

You’re confusing opinion with belief.

If my favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip, I don’t need to provide any evidence to support that, and no amount of evidence can prove my wrong.

If my belief is that mint chocolate chip ice cream makes you more intelligent, well then, I better have some evidence to back that up.
And that belief– along with any evidence I provide in support of it, is absolutely open to be challenged.

No your erroneously correlating the word belief with idea of a hypothesis, which is the fuel of the scientific process. In this context belief and opinion are one and the same. And your also demonstrating the emotionally reactionary nature of your cognitive process, the intangible feeling that mint is your favorite ice cream is a fact not a belief, but only you can test that fact, its abstract and introverted, i could see you eat it every time and have the opinion that its your favorite. My opinion would be based on my observations as most opinions almost always are.

Her vehicle was stationary when he walked in front of it — he wasn’t trying to position himself in front of her or prevent her from fleeing — I don’t believe she intentionally drove at him (she was distracted by the agent attempting to open her door and by her idiot wife) — but she did in fact accelerate towards him while he was a couple feet or less from her bumper.

People are fixated on the tragic outcome of her actions while ignoring that it was 100% avoidable if she’d obeyed lawful orders to stop and exit her vehicle.

Changing what hand was holding your cell phone to withdraw your gun with the other hand before any acceleration and then smacking the phone onto the corner of a vehicle that is now turned away and trying to take off Is it an excuse for intentional homicide. Him claiming she was a stupid **** after he just shot her was not a man afraid for his life that is an angry man who knew what he was doing. FBI agent who initially investigated fatal ICE shooting in Minneapolis has resigned

Soon after the agent opened the civil rights investigation, she was ordered to reclassify it as an investigation into an assault on the officer. The FBI blocked the BCA from participating in the investigation.

Well simply starting investigating it as a “civil rights investigation ” shows the agent fell in with the Minnesota BCA had being directed by their outraged governor.

Claims that Trump was the one who politicized the FBI are wrong. It became increasingly politicized from a federal police force to a “intelligence ” for over 20 years since 9/11. Biden investigated Trump allies and in fact the FBI Agent this story refers to, Tracey Mergen, testified as a Biden government witness against a man, Tom Barrack, acquitted of acting as an unregistered agent under the Trump Administration. “The government anticipates calling Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”) Special Agents Tracee Mergen and Warren Chiu to testify about the false statements made by defendant Thomas J. Barrack during his interview”.

The whole government legal system had become one big political incestuous mess.

Even the largest of national medias lets their agendas dictate what they see in actual videos of the shooting. All of them.

So, without the French, would there be a “real American”?

Really? The French did not bail “us” out. They were at war as usual with the Britsh so politically “Having lost its own North American colony to Britain in the Seven Years’ War, France sought to weaken Britain by helping the American insurgents.” They supplied arms in the same way the US supplies Ukraine or supplied the Afghani against the Russians. It didn’t work out for them any better than those worked for the US. It was mutual use.

You’re both right. The French bailed us out by following French self interest.

And Jebs, yes we did need a revolution. Those other former colonies still genuflect to the British Crown. Screw that. America is a British, French, Dutch, German, Italian, African, Irish, Scandinavian, Spanish…. and now global country.

Of course the French had their own personal interests in mind.
That still doesn’t mean they didn’t help provide arms, finances, training, and naval support– including that oh so critical naval blockade at Yorktown that prevented Cornwallis’ army from escaping, thus forcing them to surrender.

Fun fact: We also don’t give nearly enough credit to Spain.
The largest battle the British fought during the American Revolutionary was fending off Spain’s attempt to capture Gibraltar.

This is so fucked up. I want to remind everyone that during the civil rights movement we saw bombings close to everyday is some parts of the US. Everything in my soul hopes that doesn’t come again. But people need to realize how very serious this situation is. For example, small things get some extra-large gauze bandages and antiseptic at the store this week. We get to choose how we want to show up being able to help people is a good way to prepare. It’s not like first aid gear gets wasted. We shall overcome.

Nobody was rejoicing, hence there was a protest to begin with over the VERY thing that just happened again a few hours ago. And you’re right, they’re not in control. Certainly not the agents themselves.

Right you are, however the power to initiate war lies within all people and you can only control your actions.

Yeah, like ancient Rome was ultimate example of peace. Pax Romana watered with slavery, blood, vengeance and tribute.

It was in fact a long period of stable order for most of the known world, we are living in the remnants of that global order and those struggles from then are still driving global politics. But yes Rome was good, no one argues that, well one group of folks do, but they got old beef, its in the book, you can read up on it.

MN Startribune has a write up on him. An ICU nurse who worked for the VA. Thanks DHS, now you killed one of the very people who help your military buddies when they need medical care.

OK, in one of the videos there’s a woman in a pink jacket recording. Allegedly this is her video being reposted. There are concerns about her safety or if she was detained after posting. This too is NSFW.

What a Sig Sauer with an actual silencer looks like.

No gun is seen in any video I’ve watched so far. And at least a couple with agents saying they can’t find it.

I watched this one 10 times. There is no gun presented. The guy has a phone in his hand.

Did he have one on his person? Maybe. He’s allowed to in MN. But he certainly didn’t draw and fire on anyone.

The glowie in grey grabbed it off his during the final moments of the scuffle, i cant see him clearly take it off the guy, there is a new video,

setup as in it has a threaded barrel, the knurled knob on the end of the longer than stock barrel is covering it.

Open carry has no permit for open carry of a handgun, but does require one for a pistol. You need to know the difference.

It is VERY clear, with no question about things like if an agent was about to get run over or anything else. It’s right fucking THERE. 7 agents, one guy. Pepper sprayed, Takend down, Beat in the head. Shot TWELVE times while on the ground. That isn’t an arrest. That’s an execution because Billy Badass Agent got overexcited.

Not only that, it looks like the first agent shot him while he was pinned to the ground and very easily could have shot another agent. And as the shooting continued it was also putting bystanders in harms way with ricocheting bullets.
The White House propaganda machine is already hard at work on this.

“The Border Patrol Union in a statement on X: “Border Patrol agents are trained extremely well to protect themselves, their fellow agents, and innocent third parties. When a supposed “peaceful” protester brings a weapon (such as a loaded handgun) and brandishes it, there are going to severe consequences and repercussions. We have pleaded with and warned the media and the politicians that their irresponsible, hate-filled and false rhetoric is going to get people unnecessarily hurt, or worse, killed when they portray our agents and officers as the aggressors. They have encouraged these reckless confrontations and attacks on our agents and officers who are performing their lawful duties and enforcing the laws that Congress has put on the books. The fake and dishonest media and the shameless politicians should be held accountable for willfully misleading the public and enticing these protesters and agitators. We have full confidence that when more facts are revealed, our agents and officers will be shown to have utilized justifiable force in eliminating the threat.”

when they portray our agents and officers as the aggressors.

Except of course, they *are* the aggressors as multiple videos in multiple places show.

They are also violating the law by breaking into homes without a judicial warrant and detaining US citizens for hours without cause.

It’s not a “fake and dishonest media” misleading the public, it’s the gaslighting administration that calls peaceful protesters and observers “domestic terrorists”.

He was carrying a legally permitted weapon – 2nd amendment, ya got a problem with that? – and I’ve seen all the available videos, no brandishing. None.

The weapon was discovered on him when he was under the dog pile of agents, he was disarmed and a second later, executed.

This is another case of who you gonna believe, trump or your lying eyes.

Imagine for a moment that you have not seen everything that happened today on the web videos you saw, which are like two minute window but the claim is he brandished the weapon before the interaction on camera. This won’t be the one unless the left give in and fucks up in such a way to give him the ability to trigger the insurrection act, this is about disrupting the schedule and running of the midterms. Expect more shootings until they can do the thing they have been planning all along, how else 3rd term? Just my ill informed opinion.

TODAY ICE AGENTS MURDERED AN ICU NURSE WHO WAS DEFENDING A WOMAN BEING PEPPER SPRAYED. ALL THE SAME ICE LIES ARE BEING REPEATED.
BUT VIDEO SHOWS THE TRUTH. HE WAS LEGALLY CARRYING A FIRE ARM BUT DID NOT ACCESS IT. HE WAS FLAT ON THE GROUND WHEN HE WAS SHOT MULTIPLE TIMES.

It should come as no surprise considering their overseas training and the doctrine of their masters.

ICE just murdered a 2nd US citizen…
It’s “funny” how most people don’t recognize a fascist govt until after it’s defeated, by it’s own people in revolt or due to defeat on the battlefield.
Multiple WARNINGS have been given now.

Or….as I’ve also been reading, we’ll find out what hypocrites the NRA is. They’re awfully quiet today, especially about the whole “2A and standing up to a tyrannical government” shtick. Make a decision, boys.

Now, Icers murder a man for possessing a licensed gun that was not displayed, and say it was “because he was armed”.

Whatever happened to the Bill of Rights, and where are the voices of the Second Amendment supporters?

So, if someone has a beef, real or imagined, against someone who is dark skinned (US citizen or not), they can basically swat that person.

edit: while I’m here. There are over 2 million undocumented people in Texas. So why is Trump and the DHS so focused on Minnesota which has around 130K or so? Why threaten the state with actual troops and even at one point, even now, the 11th Airborne? Are they going to parachute into Minneapolis?
