Expect Delays on Route 36 Near Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park on August 17-18

Travelers in Humboldt County should continue to expect delays on Route 36 near Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park. Please plan for up to 40-minute delays on August 17 and 18. Flight times are dependent on when the fog and low clouds clear. These may be the final helicopter flights required for this project. Slide work at postmile 16.1 is complete while work at postmile 15.5 continues. We will provide further updates here when planned delays are expected to exceed 20 minutes.
