Vehicle Rollover on Shelter Cove Road Blocks Traffic

A single-vehicle rollover crash on Shelter Cove Road, approximately five to six miles east of Shelter Cove, led to  traffic slowdowns this afternoon. The incident was reported around 3:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The vehicle rolled over, coming to rest in a position partially blocking the westbound lane.

Emergency personnel, including units from the CHP, responded to the remote area, with the first unit arriving on scene at 3:56 p.m. Cal Fire crews were also on-site, setting up traffic control.

As of the latest information, traffic control is in place. The photographer told us this was a minor injury crash, however, an ambulance was dispatched to the scene.

Motorists in the area are advised to proceed with caution and be prepared for potential delays.

Yikes!! vehicles accidents EVERYWHERE. Has to be something in the air.

Perhaps the driver of the rolled over vehicle should have proceeded with caution. Driving too fast, intoxicated, mechanical failure, forced off the road, lots of reasons. I am happy that the driver and/or passenger only received minor injuries.
