Gannon Slough is in that area. Luckily they didn’t end up in it.

Dude, CalFire units get called to all kinda stuff all over. It’s likely they were traveling 101, perhaps on their way to Pecwan. Theres a station in Trinidad, and HQ is in Fortuna. When Arcata gets it’s Oakland Hills fire event, you’re going to see plenty of CalFire, and SoHum volunteer engines doing structure protection.

It was northbound 101 just north of Bayside Cutoff before Samoa off ramp in the field to the east. Quite a bit south of 255.

Glad the persons injury was not worse. Rolling multiple times could have killed them. Thanks to all the first responders for your assistance.

My husband and I saw it and turned around thank God. When we pulled up we heard someone yelling for help. My husband ran down and he was stuck in the sunroof trying to get out. He had a horrible broken leg. He held his hand until the sheriff came. I pray he is OK and God bless him.

Pamela, a huge thank you to your wonderful husband for helping that gentleman by holding his hand until help arrived. I know in my heart the gentleman knew he was not alone at that moment, and it helped relieve some pain and being scared. I also pray he will make a complete recovery and be fine. God bless him and your husband.
